We have been learning about fish, amphibians, and reptiles this week. To go along with this lesson we have dissected a perch, snake, and an online dissection of a frog. It was super cool and gross to see inside of their bodies and look at the organs. It was also interesting to see the similarities and differences of all of them.

We are also doing a camoflauge "easter" egg hunt for the younger grade. This is to simulate the camouflage of fish, amphibians and reptiles. We were given the challenge of disguising a yellow ball with man-made materials. We were given a yellow ball because the human eye is attracted to the color yellow.

This week we have also been discussing poetry. We have learned about a poet named Roald Daul. He turns original fairytales/nursery rhymes and gives them a twist. We had to make our own and I decided to create another version of Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater.

So far this school year has been go, go, go. I am ready for this break.
