HELLO BOSTON!

Boston, unlike Puerto Rico, will be remembered not by the places but by the good times we shared with each other and the relationships that were strengthened over the course of the trip. First, I would like to say that the traffic..... uhhh, I can't even find the right words to describe it. It was atrocious. I think our Google Maps was even getting confused (it started making triangles haha). Mr. Arant was about to make a quick stop to the mental hospital as well. (yikes!)

We went to so many amazing places, but the one I really enjoyed was the New England Aquarium. They had seals that did cute little tricks and furry little penguins. In the middle of the Aquarium there was this tank called the Giant Ocean Tank. This tank was 4 levels high and in fact the entire aquarium was built around this tank. There was an 80 year old sea turtle in there too! It was an amazing experience.

"HONK HONK". That pretty much sets the tone for the background noise of Boston. (They are not afraid to use their horn). The streets of Boston were so pretty! The houses, apartments and street life were so different from Oklahoma. Downtown was packed with people walking and riding their bike. I think I know why they streets were so busy because parking was so expensive. It was $40 each day! But due to this it allowed us to enjoy walks and bus rides to get around the town.

There was so much history that was in Boston that I really enjoyed learning about. From Paul Revere to James Otis, there was so much I didn't know. On the Freedom Trail our tour guide was really passionate and knew her facts about the history of Boston and made learning really enjoyable.

This trip as been one that I will remember for many years to come.
